Sophia Reeder
I am enjoying all my classes and the adjustment to online learning has been smooth. The professors have done a great job transitioning to fully/partially online. I think they are the main reason things are going so well and I am grateful for their hard work under these difficult circumstances.
Everyone has been buzzing after the announcement of the upcoming football season. It’s nice to have such a big staple of the OSU experience back, as long as everyone involved is safe. I’m not a huge football fanatic, but I’m really excited to have the chance to watch our team play, even if it can’t be in person. Living in Morrill Tower means I’m right next to the stadium, so there’s lots of anticipation for things to get started. The marching band has also been practicing their roll-step and learning drill in the fields right next to us and I can’t wait to see what they do this year!
Sophia graduated from Conestoga High School and resides in Devon, PA.
Some accomplishments throughout her high school career include:
– Marching Band Section Leader
– Art and Design Magazine Editor
– President’s Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence
– National Honors Society and National Art Honor Society
Sophia plans to major in communications with a minor in design thinking.
She was drawn to The Ohio State University by
its devotion to academic excellence and commitment to diversity and inclusion.
We are excited for Sophia in becoming a Buckeye!
